About Mrs. Stasko
Hi! I am Mrs. Stasko! I am so happy to be working with students and families as the Instructional Specialist at Veterans Memorial Elementary School! This is my 23rd year of teaching. My experience includes teaching in the Allentown School District and Parkland School District. This is my 16th year at Parkland! While at Parkland, I have taught at Parkway Manor Elementary, Jaindl Elementary, Fogelsville Elementary and Veterans Memorial Elementary. One of my favorite things about being a teacher is the opportunity to teach students new and exciting things. I love getting to know students and understanding what their personal learning interests and goals might be. I think it is very important for young students to have an amazing experience in elementary school. It is a time of great growth, development and learning. My teaching style is fun and exciting, while also structured and challenging. I value parent involvement and communication. Please feel free to communicate any thought or question you might have.
When I am not teaching, I am a busy wife and mom. I have two sons, Austin and Tyler. Austin is a graduate of Cornell University and working as a mechanical engineer. Tyler is majoring in mechanical engineering and is a sophomore at Penn State University. Some of the favorite things our family likes to do are play all sorts of sports, bike riding, camping, beach vacations, and swimming. We also spend lots of time with our two dogs, Buddy and Sophie. I like to spend my free time running, skiing, reading or taking Buddy and Sophie for walks.
I feel very lucky to be teaching in the Parkland School District! It is my home away from home!
